Our Mission

Chinese AI labs — DeepSeek, Alibaba, Zhipu, Moonshot, and others — have built models that rival or surpass GPT-4o in quality, at a fraction of the cost. But accessing these models from outside China requires a Chinese phone number, real-name verification, and Alipay/WeChat Pay.

We remove those barriers. With ModGate, you get one OpenAI-compatible endpoint, one API key, and access to 20+ Chinese models. No Chinese phone number. No Alipay. Just copy your key and start building.

How It Works

We operate as a managed API proxy. You make requests to our OpenAI-compatible endpoint, and we route them to the appropriate Chinese model provider. We handle authentication, rate limiting, error recovery, and usage tracking — so you can focus on building your product.

• Edge nodes in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and San Francisco for low-latency worldwide access
• Automatic failover between models when a provider is slow or unavailable
• No logging of your prompts or completions — data passes through and is deleted immediately
